Car-Centric: A Photographic Study

This series of photos intends to demonstrate the dominance of the automobile in the daily life and urban space of North America, so much so that environments become hostile to the naked human trapped outside of a four-wheeled metal box. Even though car-mindedness has destroyed physical and social mobility, public health, and sustainability, many still insist that the status quo is the only viable way. It is the American way, and to suggest otherwise is a betrayal of this country’s culture. Today, I am a traitor.
